- Open your delivery email or order page. Follow any activation link first to reveal the final Nintendo code.
- Open Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 and choose the user who should receive the membership.
- Check the account’s current membership under Nintendo Switch Online. A standard individual code is not automatically compatible with an existing family membership or Expansion Pack.
- Choose Redeem Code and enter the sixteen-character code. You can also use https://ec.nintendo.com/redeem while signed in to the same Nintendo Account.
- Check the displayed membership type and duration. Read the automatic-renewal information and deliberately choose the setting you want before confirming.
- Finish activating the code and check the new end date under Nintendo Switch Online in your account. You can then use the included features with compatible games.

This is an individual membership for one Nintendo Account. Other accounts on the same console do not automatically receive the same access. A family membership is the option designed for several family members using their own accounts.
Select the option you want before ordering. Three months means 90 days of membership, and twelve months means 365 days. Check the chosen duration in your order and again on Nintendo’s confirmation screen.
