- Open your delivery email or order page. If an activation link is provided, open it first to reveal the Nintendo eShop code.
- Connect your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 to the internet and open Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu.
- Choose the user linked to the Nintendo Account that should receive the credit. Check that eShop prices are shown in euros.
- Select Redeem Code on the left of the screen. Enter the sixteen-character code you received and choose OK.
- Check the amount and confirm that you want to add the funds. You can then choose an eShop purchase and pay with your balance.
Frequently asked questions
You are buying eShop credit and choosing a purchase afterwards. The card does not start a membership or include a preselected game. You can use the credit to buy an available Nintendo Switch Online membership in the eShop.
The current Nintendo eShop is available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Check which console a game supports before buying. A game made exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 will not run on an original Nintendo Switch.
This euro card works with a European eShop using euros, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. Your Nintendo Account’s country setting determines which eShop opens. Check your account and the prices shown before buying; the language selected on the console does not tell you which card you need.
No. The card is added to your balance in one go, but you can spread that balance over several purchases. Credit left after buying a game or expansion stays available on the same Nintendo Account.
This card is for digital purchases in Nintendo eShop, such as a downloadable game or compatible expansion. A physical console, controller or game cartridge requires a payment method accepted by the shop selling it.
Give the unused code to the recipient so they can redeem it on their own Nintendo Account. Check their eShop currency beforehand. Do not redeem it yourself first: the full card value is added to the account selected during redemption.
